Wayne Zschech has been living and serving the Lord in Ukraine for over 17years.
Wayne & Olya (with their children Mark, Matthew and Nikita) live in Kaharlyk, a regional town 80km south of Kiev, Ukraine's capital. Wayne has been pastoring Calvary Chapel Kaharlyk since 1997.
Ukraine is in a unique place in its history. There are so many opportunities for Christians to play an important role in Ukraine's development as young independent nation.
Wayne's passion is for community transformation as his motto is community transformation through Christian enterprise and discipleship.
Currently the church is concentrating on developing two small businesses - foam concrete building blocks and biodiesel production.
God miraculously provided a large building for the church in the very centre of our town. They are slowly renovating it to house their many and various ministries. It is their vision for their church to become a centre of life where hundreds come regularly into God's house where people can witness God's interaction with his people in the various aspects of people's lives. e.g. worship, community, education, sport and relaxation.
As a church family we provide regular weekly support to the Zschech and their ministry. Why not get involed-pray for their ministry, give to support their work in their community.
