Careforce Lifekeys Courses

When the pressures of life, family, work, church, friendships etc. steal our joy, swallow up our time and endanger our relationships where can we go to see we need not be alone? At some time, we all experience these emotions and difficulties in our everyday world.

We aim to share with those who seek, essential ‘life keys' for richer, more balanced relationships at home, at work, at church and in the community at large and also to help our local community find Christ through their ‘life' situations.

All Facilitators are fully trained and the small groups are run in an atmosphere of love, acceptance and complete confidentiality.

To find out more about any of the courses below or to speak confidentially to a facilitator, call the Church Office 4124 7200

Courses available at different times throughout the year are:

Woman to Woman (10 Weeks)

Have you heard yourself say "I will never be like ‘so and so'? Every woman carries with her the strengths and weaknesses of her background and as hard as we try sometimes we turn into the very people we wish not to be like. Women carry the legacy of their past into all their relationships - family, friends, work and church. This program will show you how to help gain a new way of thinking about yourself and others. It will give you the strategies and skills needed to make positive changes in yourself and in relationships for more healthier, loving and fun relationships. Issues explored include: family dynamics, handling shame and guilt, sexuality, self discovery and more.

Search for Life (10 Weeks)

Are you satisfied with the relationships in your life? Do you want to have relationships that are more open and fulfilling? This program is for people seeking a sound basis for peace of heart and mind, and an answer to the question, "What do I have to do to be loved, accepted and valued unconditionally in my relationships?" This program identifies the sources of many human tensions at home, at work, at church and aims to give you the ‘life keys' for understanding and to build a new and better way of interacting with others using love, laughter and mutual respect.

Man to Man (10 Weeks)

Do the pressures of the world cause conflict with what your conscience tells you? How does a Christian life fit in to the workplace and on the sports field?

This program focuses on the man and his relationships at home, in the workplace and in the community at large. It's not uncommon for men to feel isolated and without support, especially when our culture has trained them to think that they should be able to keep it all together.

Men today need help with the pressures, hassles and hurts of life and need to find support and encouragement from each other. Issues explored include: emotions, sexual addiction, conflict resolution, and more.

Door of Hope (10 Weeks)

Were you a victim of childhood sexual abuse? Do you have some one you can relax and share with? Door of Hope is an encouraging and supportive program for female survivors of childhood sexual abuse. (Run by survivors for survivors.) In an environment of love, acceptance and confidentiality ladies will begin to develop new strategies for living, and finding the release from the struggles of life. It brings women out of emotional isolation and addresses the issues they face. The issues explored include powerlessness and empowerment, aspects of shame and guilt, receiving love and giving love, restoration of trust and how to build positive and lasting relationships.

Valiant Man (10 Weeks)

Developing and maintaining a healthy sexuality is every man's battle. Valiant Man is about male sexual discipleship. This 10 Session Program with study and devotional guide is designed to fortify and restore the moral and spiritual integrity of men. Valiant Man challenges all men to fight for their own personal, moral and spiritual vitality and help other men fight for theirs.
